A gentleman named Nick came to our office and sold us tickets to a Tom Hopkins event. Called a few days before the event and said it cancelled. I've tried for 2 weeks to reach someone to no avail. This morning when I called the number appears to be disconnected. Myself and several other people in my office paid for spots. My broker paid for SEVERAL spots and is out a lot of money as well. All in all I would say just our firm was connived out of a few thousand dollars. I hope someone goes after this guy. Daniel Williams should be in jail.
I spoke to a rep at Tom Hopkins and they are in the same boat with this guy. He owes them a lot of money. I wonder though what liability Tom Hopkins' organization has from the simple fact he hired this company to promote him. Unfortunately Tom Hopkins is a reputable organization and has to be associated with such scum.
