Complaint Review: Mavin Jones

One thing for sure, the money is going to fly out of your wallet — shoddy work or not by reputed aircraft repairman Mavin Jones, working out of the Richfield Municipal Airport in Utah. The man certainly seems to have figured out how to bill his customers. 

In my opinion, Mavin is an expert in shoddy, overpriced work while overcharging and under-delivering. And I speak from experience.

Just something to think about: When you’re driving a vehicle and something goes wrong with a repair, it’s certainly a potentially dangerous thing, but at least you could coast to the side of the road. 

In an airplane, not so much. Something goes wrong in the air and there’s only one way you’re headed, and that’s down. It’s just a question of how much control you have over the descent. Sometimes your aircraft has all the maneuverability and glide path of a brick. Not good. 

So be careful about considering having work done on your aircraft by Mavin Jones in Richfield, Utah. When you're up in the air, you want your repairs done right. But Mavin's focus seems to be on something other than aircraft repair.
