Complaint Review: Max Emfinger Recruiting All American Game

Max Emfinger is up to his old tricks again!  He is now recruiting players for his 2011 Bowl Game and these kids and their parents have no clue what lies ahead for them.  Based upon his reputation and performance in the past, these new recruits are going to end up in the same mess as all the other players in previous games.

Max is saying on his website that the 2010 game was a MIRACLE FROM GOD!!  Nothing is further from the truth.  This was no "answer to his prayers".  It was an outright ripoff of players, parents, vendors, sponsors, etc.  The REAL MIRACLE is that he got out of town without getting arrested or at least detained.  

Max believes that he is helping kids get recruited.  All Max is doing is keeping his name alive; nothing else!  Most college coaches are not interested in his opinion anymore.  Indeed, there was a time when he ruled the roost.  Not anymore.  His ego is so inflated and he don't care whether he keeps his promises or acts responsibly towards the players. 

Here is what happened in Texas in January 2010.

He did not have ANY money to fund the game.  Players showed up from across the country, looking for the experience promised to them by Max.  He put them up in a hotel that he did not have money to pay for.  He could not pay to feed them.  He could not pay to transport them.  He could not pay for the stadium.  He could not pay to host any of the events (Coach's Day, All American Olympics, Dell Childrens Hospital visit, etc., etc.!!!)  Nothing was secured for these kids.....not even game officials.  His combine did not have the fundamental tools like a STOPWATCH, WEIGHTS, ETC!! When coaches, parents and local parties saw the shameful position that these kids were in they dug into their pockets to keep them safe and fed.  This is the truth, without prejudice.

PARENTS & PLAYERS of the 2011 fiasco, please beware and DON'T GET INVOLVED!  Many, many others wish they had the benefit of this advance information before putting their kids on a plane (at their own expense) and sending them across the country for Max to take responsibility for.
