I ordered a leather sofa nad two leather recliners from Max Furniture. I emailed the representative before ordering to confirm that this is indeed leather because I didn't want faux leather, bonded leather or any other kind of fake leather. They assured me that this set was 100% top grain leather. I placed order on Feb 24. 2012 and did not receive shipment until April 9, 2012. I was shocked to find that not only was the furniture not leather but the quality was poor.

I emailed the company but didn't get a reply for a week. They first offered to refund my money and I would return the furniture or they would give me a substancial discount and a gift certificate for a future order. Initially I agreed to the discount and certificate because I was going to buy some office furniture; however after thinking about it I really don't like the furniture. I emailed them a couple of days later and they wouldn't consider my returning the furniture or refunding my money. The representative told me that they would charge me $450.00 to take the furniture back. I reminded him that their company illegally sent me a different set than the one I ordered and that I wanted ALL of my money refunded. They have not responded to my emails nor have they refunded any money.
