Max-Lingerie.com - Maxwigs.com - MaxCostumes.com ripoff gives the run around poor customer service El Dorado Hills California
On April 22nd, 2006, I ordered $80.79 worth of lingerie from the above company. I never received any form of communication from them in regard to the tracking number for my order.
Approximately on May 12th, I called to inquire the status of my order. At that time, Annie informed me that my order had shipped and supplied the tracking number and the company that shipped my order. I immediately went to the shipping company's website and looked up my order. On their website, it indicated that my order had been delivered to my front door. Unfortunately, I never received a package from them.
Thereafer, I contacted the shipping company to question where my package was. They regurgitated what their website stated. I informed them that I did not receive the package. They stated that they were going to contact the driver. The driver stated that he left the package at the back door. I told them that I had not received any package from them. I inquired what the next step was. The shipping company told me that the merchant (Max wigs) needed to file a claim.
This is when everything went down hill. I tried to contact Max wigs via telephone numerous times and no one ever answered the phone. I emailed them and informed Annie that she had to file a lost claim with the shipping company. Per Annie's response to my email, she indicated that she would be passing this off to the appropriate person to handle this.
On May 22nd, Annie replied to my email stating that she filed a lost claim with the shipping company and would contact me as soon as she heard anything. Guess what? I did not hear from her until I contacted her!!
Per my email to Annie, on June 12th, she indicated that she had not heard anything from the shipping company, but she did not indicate whether she was going to contact them to follow up on the claim. At this point, I am being highly frustrated.
Per my email to Annie, on July 7th, she indicated that the shipping company failed to fax the form to her and that she was waiting for the lost claims form to be faxed to her office. Now, I am angry. Here it is almost four months later, they have my money, I don't have the merchandise that I paid for, and I am receiving the run around!!
I called on July 27th and spoke to Annie. At that time, she indicated that my order was being handled by Chelsea since July 17th. I waited on hold for over a half an hour to speak to Chelsea. I requested from Annie to have Chelsea call me.
Chelsea called me a few minutes later. She told me that my order was just handed to her. Nice. . .conflicted stories!! As I was on the phone with her, she was supposedly filing out the lost claims form. She also had the nerve to tell me that I never spoke with the shipping company.
At the end of the conversation with Chelsea, she indicated that I would be receiving an email from her THAT DAY showing a credit to my credit card. Guess what? I never received that email.
I tried to call on Friday, July 28th and Monday, July 31st. No one answered the phone. I also sent an email on Friday asking where my credit to my credit card was.
All I am asking for is a refund to my credit card for merchandise that I never received!! How difficult can this be?
At that time, the shipping
