I would like to caution take this opportunity to caution consumers about purchasing a vehicle from MAXIMUM DEALS, INC. I was going to shrug this rip-off off and take the loss but after going to ripoffreport.com and reading about what this dealer did to another innocent consumer, I will tell my story so consumers may know what type of individual they are dealing with (to me, this crook is less that a man and will run once he gets your money. I can only refer to the old gray haired dude that sits in the back on the right as you walk into the building who I latter learned was the manager/owner. I was shocked after learning of this because I myself am a business owner who deals with lots of customers and my number on priority is to ensure every customer is completely satisfied with their products, especially after the sale.

First off, I normally dont deal with who I refer to as side street junk dealers due to being burnt before, but I needed a vehicle fast and wanted to pay cash not to exceed $10,000.00. So one Saturday morning (15 Dec 07), I jumped in my sisters vehicle and drove to MAXIMUM DEALS, INC. The vehicle I saw on their web site was in a garage. I asked the gentleman why it was in this garage, he stated they had just gotten it in and was going to clean it and put it out on the lot.

I also noted a burned out light under the hood, I then asked the dealer if they would fix this, he replied yes, its just a burnt bulb. After checking the vehicle over, I decided to purchase the vehicle for $9,850.00. After the bogus $200.00 processing fees I argued with the old man about and a couple of other fees, I spent a total of $10,378.00 on this vehicle. I purchased and drove the vehicle off the lot and to my home where it was parked for two weeks while I went on holiday vacation.

Upon my return I leaned that I had to get the vehicle emissions done which I was not told this by MAXIMUM DEALS, INC. I called and inquired if this had been done by the dealer; a representative replied no that is your responsibility. I then told the young man that I wish someone had of told me this while purchasing the vehicle. He was apologetic and agreed I should have been told about this. Again the old gray haired dude who sits in the back on the right as you enter was the seller. This was not a big deal to me, I just wanted to know if it was done because I was at the DMV and they had me looking for a white piece of paper (emissions report). Anyway I had to end up getting it done! On Jan 7, 2008, it was rather warm outside so I decided to put the A/C on. I did however, there was a problem. Nothing but hot air was exiting through the vents.

Now Im pissed. After taking about two hours to calm down, I called MAXIMUM DEALS, INC, explained my case than asked to speak with the old man who sold this vehicle. I was asked if I had financed the vehicle. I relied no I paid cash. After being put on hold for about 5 minutes the guy came back and said the old man was off and would be back to work in the morning. I left my name and number and asked that he call me in the morning once he got in. He says ok.

The next morning came and went with no phone call therefore, I called MAXIMUM DEALS, INC back and asked to speak with this old man. The guy who answered the phone said he was not in. I then informed him that someone could talk with me or my attorney about this. He asked If could hold on so he could get the manager. About 2 minute later, the old man gets on the phone and asks if the car was financed.

I replied no I paid cash. He then started yelling saying he is not responsible for the car. He further stated that anything that happens with the car after you pay for it is my problem then hung up on me. I didntt expect them to take the car a fix the A/C, I was only looking for them to take part of the responsibility in fixing this A/C. I had never been so pissed off in my life. Again, after calming down, I obtained an attorney who has the case for action. That is why I refer to this guy as the old man.

I will help them clean up their act. Anyway, I could have called him plenty other names but I must remain professional. For all readers, please understand that these case is not about money, its all about principle. I cannot tolerate a liar, stealer, or cheater (never).
BOTTOM LINE: BEWARE WHEN PURCHASING VEHICLES FROM MAXIMUM DEALS, INC. BASE ON MY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY, IF I HAD TO DO IT ALL AGAIN, I WOULD GO TO A LARGE DEALERSHIP, I WOULD CHECK RIP OFF SITES, BETTER BUSINESS, ECT. I WOULD ALSO GET A BIG TICKET ITEM LIKE THIS TROUGH FINANCE AND WARRANTY. NEVER WILL I PAY CASH AGAIN.

For the individual that purchased the vehicle and your engine blow up 3 days later, Im very sorry this happened to you. Ill remember to ask my attorney if legal action could be perused concerning this. Its a dirty shame that now days you have to spend hours researching reputation on businesses in lei of dealing with them.

One last note, the old guy may tell you that someone is coming to look at the vehicle while your thinking about weather you want to buy it or not. Be careful if you do decide to go there because thats a marketing scam tactic that usually push you over the edge because you don't want to miss out on that deal. Anyway, to be safe, just stay away from MAXIMUM DEALS BECAUSE THE DEALS ARE MAXIMUM ONLY FOR THEM! BY THE WAY, THE MONEY I USED TO PURCHASE THIS VEHICLE WAS EARNED WHILE TAKING DIRECT AND INDIRECT FIRE FROM ENEMY COMBATANTS IN IRAQ. IT DISGUST ME TO NO END WHEN I THINK OF THE KINDS OF FOLKS IN WHOM RIGHTS AND FREEDOM WE PROTECT. (FREEDOM TO RIP US OFF WHEN WE RETURN HOME) SCUM PURE SCUM.

PLEASE PASS THIS TO EVERYONE, ESPECIAL IN THE VA, DC, & MD AREA.

UPDATE ON THE VEHICLE FROM MAXIMUM DEALS

#4Author of original report

Thu, July 05, 2012

A few years have passed since my unfortunate encounter with Maximum Deals Inc, I would like to take this opportunity to respond to the representative who rebutted my previous post and provide an update on the $11,000.00 vehicle I purchased with cash.

I understand the the gentlemen was fired, that's great but I am out of more than $16,000.00 dollars because of your company's deceitful behavior. After purchasing this vehicle and learning of all the problems associated with it, I did obtain an attorney but could not pursue legal action due to my Military transfer overseas but now I'm back. Some of the problems were, the engine block was cracked, the A/C went out the second week after purchase (that initiated my first call), transmission was rebuilt amongst a few more deficiencies. The purchuse of another engine cost $3,500.00.

Bottom line, I was royally screwed and when saught help from your company, I receive nothing but a hang-up because I was stupid and gave you cash and got nothing in return but more problems. If you really cared about your customers being satisfied you would be more than happen to compromise to satisfy that customer, but all I get is a rebuttal stating the guy was fired, so what! Is that suppose to make me feel better, because if it is, it's not working. Thanks an have a great day.

Recently I called in regarding a 2006 Ford F150 with 62k miles that I saw on craigslist from Maximum Deals. The list price was 19,999.00. When I called to inquire the sale person who did not give his name said that if I bring my own financing that the price would be 18,500.00. So I went out, got a loan, and had a check all ready to go. I called in the next day to tell them I was on my way to pick up the truck and spoke to Mike (one of the managers). He told me that there was no way he could sell it for 18500.00 and that he would never authorize that type of deal. So, I got a loan for no reason and was lied to. Pretty piss poor business they run here. Also, I failed to mention that the sales person told me it had a clean carfax report with no wrecks. I looked it up, and it was indeed crashed in 8/09. Liars! They are the epitome of crooked used car salesmen. They're the reason for the stereo type.

#4UPDATE Employee

Sun, November 16, 2008

I am an employee for maximum deal and i have been here for the last 3 years. Honestly as a receptionist at maximum deal i usally know what happens all around the office. and i understand the point that was made here... but the reason that i am filing the rebuttal is the fact that my company has fired the old man (hazim) that was refered to in the report. So now that we no longer have the person employed in our office, i believe the report should be pulled off the internet. It is tarnishing our reputation for no reason. Thank you so much and if anyone has any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me once i receive your email-- i should be able to respond back to you within 24 hours.
