Complaint Review: Maximum Tax Service

I went to Maximum Tax Service is Westland, Michigan because I got a flyer on home door advertising "$500 Cash advance 0% No Credit Check" when my husband and I went there to get our taxes done we were told that we would get a call once we were approved- Well that did not happen at Maximum Tax Service Westland, Michigan. Instead we were told we were denied! I have a perfect credit score of 770 and my husband 730?? I then called around to a few of there other offices and spoke to a tax preparer who privatley explained there game. They lure you in with a program they fund through a company called refundgo and just use the program as a bait and switch scam.  I was charged over $300 in tax prep fees by some no name company and a some smooth talking tax preparer who promised us the refund loan! Stay away from these scam artsists at Maximum Tax Service in Westland, Michigan. Maximum tax Service in Westland, Michigan is scam and will lie and overcharge you. I should have went to H&R Block like I usually do, at least they keep there word. Dont believe me? If you intend on going there out the fire to there feet and see if they will really GIVE you the $500 advance and use it as some cheap marketing method to get you in the door. Special thanks to the tax preparer who told me there game after I was in tears because we needed the money to avoid a dte shutoff.
