I bought a Maxtor Hard Drive Diamond Max Plus. Best Buy printed out a rebate form, which I promptly sent in. Maxtor has written to say - no money purchased after date of rebate!!! I am outraged that Best Buy and Maxtor would do business like this. I would not have bought without the rebate offer.

Maxtor, good to their word. I received the $30 rebate check yesterday.

I sent emails to people that oversee Maxtor Harddisc product (found on corporate website). They wrote back that they looked into my claim and will expedite rebate check. Very nice to deal with. But Still waiting for check.
