Recently, I paid nearly $30,000 for Mayflower to move my items from California to New York. Among these items was a very extensive and valuable sports memorabilia collection.

Mayflower suggested I take out additional insurance to cover the sports valuables. I did.

Once the movers unloaded the shipment the upacking crew arrived. Here is where the issue began.

Furniture was damaged or broken. Several items of my sports collection were lost.

While the crew was unpacking, my wife noticed a box that was unopened in a stack of boxes the unpackers identified as garbage. Inside the box were several items that were clearly to be kept. The unpackers then became arguementative and rude as my wife questioned them. I instructed them to leave. Mayflower sent another crew to complete the assignment.

A claim was filed with the company. A repairman was dispatched and completed repair on much of the furniture. The claim for my sports memorabilia was summarily dismissed by a Miss Angie Bell.

Now I am seeking to have the claim for my sports memorabilia addressed. The value of this is around $4,000.
