Mayor J. Fabrizi City Of Bridgeport, Connecticut Mayor Fabrizi promised help while my beloved wife dies of cancer in making arrangements to pay back taxes. That was before he officially became mayor. Once he was mayor, he foreclosed on my house, appraised at $305,000 and it was sold at foreclosure for $197,000 - I'm a grieving 69 year old widower with health problems faced foreclosure. Bridgeport Connecticut
I read in the press about the elaborate inaugaration and dinner-ball held to celebrate the election of Governor Jodi Rell and I have mixed feelings about it. Our boys and gals in the military are still at war in the Middle East and away from their families, risking life and limb. At this time, I think it would have been appropriate to have cancelled any such celebrations.
On the other hand, the governor raised money needed by the Republican Party and I admit she looked enchanting and was charming. I guess life must go on. There was a gleam in the Governor's face and I am happy for her success. I think that she might be a go-getter and turn the state around. We will have to wait and see.
We have to end the Fabrizi Gang's reign of terror on Bridgeport as we can't have a mayor addicted to Cocaine and alcohol running the largest city in the state. The mayor of Bridgeport should be a law abiding citizen who is in his right mind and not under the influence of drugs and alcohol. Bridgeport just experienced the Ganim debacle and had many sores that needed healing. Instead, Bridgeport gets a mayor, namely, John Fabrizi, who makes Joe Ganim look like a choir boy. The man has no shame. If he did, he would have resigned. Instead, he attends events and gives speeches to men and women of honor who have to endure him as he is still their mayor. The Common Council and all powers that be must realize that the mayor is a sick man and can't be allowed to continue to run a billion dollar enetrprise, the City of Bridgeport.
And he proposes grandiose schemes that have no chance of succeeding. STEAL POINT(Steel Point) is not a viable project in my opinion. But to add insult to injury, Fabrizi proposes to develop some land around the Ball Park stadium and plans a 50 story building on that site. As I jokingly said in past issues, Fabrizi may want to climb to the top of the 50 story building and yell, " Look Ma, Top of the World." ala James Cagney, who, by the way, was a Connecticut resident.
I met Frabizi and got to know him, or so I thought, before he beacme mayor. My late beloved wife, Ellen, died of cancer, some four years ago. Fabrizi came to the wake and for many months afterward was calling me some three times a week. He stated he wanted to help meas our home on Capitol Avenue owed back taxes and was listed in my wife's name. As soon as he got into office, he dropped me like a hot potato, and unleashed Quatrella & Rizio, LLC on me and finally won in a foreclosure.
While in the house, a fire took place and I barely escaped. This was back in September. The Fire Department's Marshall told me it was a set fire but no fire damage was done as I was quick to call them. I was under stress then and I wanted to ask more question but wanted to wait ubtil I got situated. This was in September and I have been calling and calling the Fire Marshall to no avail. This has been mentioned previously and it is a long story, too long to relate herein, but I feel I deserve answers.
WHY IS THE FIRE MARSHALL REFUSING TO CONSULT WITH A CITIZEN WHOSE HOUSE WAS SET ON FIRE?
Even more curious, if that is possible, there was not a "word" in the POST about the fire at my house, which was the only fire ever on that block. The POST writes about every fire in the city. Why did it eliminate the story about my house, actually, my late wife's house. THERE IS A REASON FOR THIS OMISSION! The FEDS should investigate THE CONNECTICUT POST and its publisher to discover if the POST kills stories, which I have documented it does ala the Massage Parlor in Fairfield of which I told ANDREW BROPHY, the Post's Fairfield reporter about some five years ago. DIEDRA just sold DIEDRAS now that POLICE CHIEF SAMBROOK retired. Rumor is that the police were ordered to not bother DIEDRA. Guess to who she sold to? Another KOREAN who also runs one on KING'S HIGHWAY.
Now , back to my fire, I mentioned the above facts about the fire many times and no one has done anything about it. Today, it's my house, tomorrow it may be your house.
Prior to the fire, I was in court about the foreclosure. I mentioned to Judge Melville, presiding in Judge Cocco's absence, that the new owners took possession of the first floor unit and ironically, I stated that in case of a fire or other catastrophy, I must have access to the entire house including the first floor. Judge Melville responded,"If there's a fire, so there's a fire." Access was denied. Three days later there was a fire.
I grabbed my two cats and escaped with the help of a neighbor. My neighbors seem very gratified that I acted so quickly and saved the house from total destruction as any fire on the block, would have effected the houses on either side. Luckily, that wasn't the case. Thank God!
The law firm against me, as you may have surmised, was Quatrella & Rizio. This firm does the majority of business in Bridgeport as far as city matters and zoning etc are concerned. I always wondered if Quatrella & Rizio "kick" back part of there fees to Fabrizi. This would be a crime and could get them thrown off the Bar but it is a distinct possibility. I urge the Feds to investigate this aspect of the case.
In my previous newsletter, I mentioned about how ROB FABRIZI(aptly named) came to buy my house nd told me that they have bought many foreclosures. ROB's father is the mayor's brother . Read the previous edition. This is another area the FEDS should investigate.
This publication is posted on mnay sites. Just search George Mougios Reports and you will get all the past issues. FABRIZI has blocked this newsletter from reaching city employees. I wonder what he is afraid of? But I placed it on all the other sites hoping that someone would read the newsletters and take appropriate action.
More to come and hopefully more will go
