Mayrand Publishing Scam Champlain NY
Don't let Mayrand Publishing fool you!
A rep from Mayrand Publishing called me to renew / authorize / confirm my company's commercial business listing in their American Business Guide. Having never heard of them OR their guide before, I began asking some questions.
They claimed that approximately 3 million copies are distributed to businesses and government offices around the nation and that they'd been in business for 20 years.
Not believing them, I refused to authorize anything and asked their rep for some time to consult with my boss to see if it was something we were interested in. The rep promised he'd call me a few days later to follow up with me (he never did).
Do a google search on this company and see what comes up. Amazing that they're still in business!
Don't agree to anything, don't authorize anything, and get as much information from them as you can so you can report them to the Better Business Bureau in your state. Good luck!

I have seen your report on this company and the amount of people that reported this company. I hope i can give you some insight about this company and can you please forward this to all the innocent people who reported on this comapny. I used to work for this company and they are a total scams. They all live in Montreal Canada and here is their adress. It was established in 2001. They claim to be in the United States and they are not. They are also to telecom scams now.
