WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER MAYTAG PRODUCT!

OVERPAY AND QUALITY IS HORRIBLE.

IN THE FIRST COUPLE OF YEARS, THE BELT KEPT FALLING OFF THE FRONT LOADING MAYTAG NEPTUNE WASHER. I OPENED UP THE BACK, AND PUT IT BACK ON. IT'S A PAIN, BUT NOT VERY DIFFICULT. NOW, AFTER JUST A LITTLE OVER THREE YEARS, THE WASHER WILL NOT COMPLETE IT'S CYCLE. IT STOPS PRIOR TO COMPLETION OF THE SPIN CYCLE. CALLED MAYTAG SERVICE, THEY TELL ME I NEED A WHOLE NEW "OUTER TUB" AND "SPINNER SUPPORT" + LABOR, FOR A TOTAL OF $372.43

SPEAKING WITHTHE TECHNICIAN, I GATHERED HE HAD SEEN THIS PROBLEM BEFORE. MAYTAG WILL NOT ADMIT TO ANY DEFECTS, AND THE USUAL, YOU ARE OUT OF WARRANTY.

PRIOR TO THIS MAYTAG WASHER, I HAD A SIMPLE SEARS KENMORE, LASTED 22+ YEARS WITH ME CHANGING THE BELT AT ABOUNT THE 15 YEAR MARK.

WISHED I HAD NEVER BOUGHT A MAYTAG, AND THEIR SERVICE IS HORRIBLE.
