I am writing this hoping to help someone else before they get their hard earned money taken from this car dealership. The incident occured on Saturday March 26, 2016 with a salesman named Victor. We found a car, signed the paperwork, purchased the insurance, and I put a $3500 downpayment on the vehicle. Drove home in a daze. Three days later I received a call from Victor demanding I return to the car dealership and sign another contract of purchase. Upon my arrival late Wednesday evening, 3/30/16 I was presented with another contract by Mr. Levine in finance who informed me that my current contract was null and void, and that I must sign a new contract. The interest rate would have to be higher (23%) and he refused to take off a gap insurance policy that I was never made aware of.  I was given the ultimatum to either sign the new contract or lose the car and my down payment.  I refused to sign such a contract, and was then blocked in by my salesman Victor, and was not permitted to leave with the car I had purchased. I then requested a refund. I was refused. I have contacted the Attorney General and my bank to dispute the charges. This dealership has gone out of their way to be unprofessional, misleading, hide fees, and falsely advertise vehicles that are not on the lot.  Up to this time I can get no cooperation from them whatsoever.  I used a debit card for the $3500 and now am going thru a lot of trouble to try and get my hard earned money back from these crooks.

Bruce you and your staff continue to mislead, deceive, and lie. (You should also stop portraying yourself on Google's Reviews as the Owner LOL) I assume you are all professionals at the art of deception. The fact is that I supplied my bank statements initially, and was told by your top salesman Victor B. (Who is very honest and a true professional) that I only needed to provide the three months bank statements that I did. So all proof that was asked from me on the initial visit was provided in full. You guys speculated the deal and had me purchase insurance that evening, without ever getting an approval. Thank God that you had to back out of the deal, but not before threatning to keep my money and the car, one of your associates calling me an  idiot for not signing for a 23% interest rate, and finally after a week I was offered a store credit in lieu of a refund. It wasn't until I posted on social media and had an Attorney willing to sue you guys for the recreation of it that you asked me to take down the post and you would issue a refund. Which to this day I have not received in full. The insurance that you required I purchase I have lost $305.00 on your deceptive sales practices, and ultimately backing out of your own written contract.  So I am forced now to go to Highway Safety Motor Vehicles and file a complaint with them, as the Attorney General is also involved with your several complaints that are currently on the internet. So your rebuttal just your like contract and ethics are all worthless.  Please refund my $305.00 I work hard for my money and cannot afford to be ripped off by your dealership.  This entire process is like David Vs. Goliath.  I am an average guy trying to make a living and you guys are a big company that plays by your own rules. The Best part of this story is that I paid less money at Honda South, got an 8% Interest rate for a newer Honda Accord with just 13K Miles. The best rate you could provide was 23%, A CAR WITH 3X AS many miles,  So everybody beware of these guys they are Crooks!!!

Mr. Rosenberg, who passes himself off as the owner on google reviews, is desparately trying to pass the buck. This is what these guys are so good at deception and lies. I guess in today's society it seems that is the only way to get ahead. I guess I cannot blame them too much for this fact. However, if you are goiing to buy a car and don't have perfect credit stay far away from these guys, I got a newer car at less than half of the interest rate (9%) With the same proof of income ( bank statements) that I provided to Mr. Rosenberg's place of employment. Obviously commisioned salespeople are going to do their best to creat a sale, I respect that, this situation went way far above and beyond that, and I have a recording that I made. I have since decided not to post it on YouTube because I don't want to do any further damage to this company. I did my part letting the public know the facts. They did finally refund my deposit, and this is over in my book. I lost $105. on an insurance policy, and went thru a lot of unnecessary stress, but it ended much to their dismay in my benefit.

The consumer lied

Hello my name is Bruce Rosenberg, and I'm the internet director here at Mazda of North Miami.

I would like to rebutt case number 1297057 regarding a complaint about a customer we tried to sell a car too.

The customer came into our store and worked with one of our top salesmen and when he filled out his credit application he lied about his current employment situation saying that he has been working continuesly for three years.  We had put him into a used car with his $3,500 down payment based on the information he provided to us along with the banks preliminary approval he left very happy that night with the car he picked out from our used car inventory.

The following day when the bank sent over to us the stipulations that the customer needed to provide to the bank, like proof of employment, he had told us that he really has no proof that he has been working and the only proof he did have was bank statements showing deposits. The bank that gave us the approval did not take bank statements as proof of income so our finance team worked on his deal with another bank and was able to get another approval, unfortantly the terms were not the same so when we informed him that his term were changing he decided he didnt want the car anymore unless we stayed with the orignal terms from the previous bank.

When we informed him that we couldnt give him the same terms because it was a different bank he got very upset and would not committ to signing any of the new paperwork with the new bank. So at that point we had no choice but to take the car back from him. He demanded his money back at the same time but we tried to explain to him that our accounting department was closed because it was after 5pm. We told him that we would have to contact our accounting department the following day to get him a refund of his money. Our General Manager got involved and was able to get him his refund processed and returned to him within a couple of days.

So the real truth is he lied on his application left with a car under false pretenses, which we had no choice to take back from him and return his money in a timely fashion. Please help us get this post removed.

Thank you,

Bruce Rosenberg
