One day a man came into the store I was in the process of opening to sell a credit card processing machine and processing services. His name in Dana Mansfield with Woodforest National Bank. I was overwhelmed with opening the business and knew I would be needing a credit card processing service. I did not take the time to read the contract, Dana seemed so sincere telling me what he was offering was the standard charge for such a service. I thought when I signed that day I would be paying the approx $50.00 a month total for accepting a credit card. He told me he had several customers in the area. Long story short, I signed a contact obligating me to pay approx. $4000.00 to MBF Leasing for a machine exactly like the one I have today that I paid $300.00 for. I have tried to get out of the contract several times and of course can not. Woodforest Bank let me out of the contact of the fee for processing the credit cards in which they were over charging also, but I have not been able to get out of the contract with MBF Leasing. They are about to sue me. MBF is a rip off and I would strongly advise anyone to throughly read and know what they are signing.
