I have had the same problems as everyone else. I signed up for the merchant service of credit card processing. I was told I could use my existing terminal. I told them repeatedly I would not need any other.

The rep caught me when I was busy an brought the terminals anyway. I told her I didn't want them. She said it came with the processing. I told her I wasn't paying for something I didn't need. She said there was no charge. I had customers going in and out of the store. She said I just had to sign that I received the terminals. I told her I certainly didn't need them and they would go in a box. She said "just initial here" I'll fill out the rest and get you a copy".

It wasn't until when I saw my bank statement that I realized they had debited first and last months rent and monthly rent on these things. I was told by MBF I had signed a lease. All I was told was that I was signing that I received the terminals. There was NO lease amounts anywhere on the form. It was like pulling teeth to get a copy of the signed lease.

My attorney sent a letter, but they won't let me out of the lease. I contacted Merchant Services about their crooked rep. They said they looked into it, but guess what? They have a signed lease. I am now going to file small claims and try to get my money back. They are debiting my account 269. a month. I am paying, just to keep my credit in good standing. I will file with FTC next.
