When paying your bill online, and you pay it on the due date, it takes 2 days for your payment to be posted to your account.

This is true of any major company that uses Bill Pay as their payment acceptor. This includes PayPal who uses Bill Pay as a credit card acceptor.

Therefore, if you pay your bill on line, on the due date, then you get a late charge, because Bill Pay will not post it for 2 days afer the payment is made.

Also be aware of the date you are making the payment. If you do not set the date 2 days before the payment is due, then you still get that late charge.

If your payment is due on the 10th of the month and you pay it on the first of the month, make sure that you adjust that date. If you don't, and it goes in on the due date, then you will still have that late charge because Bill Pay takes the two days to post it and it will be considered late.

Great money maker for these folks. BIG RIP OFF.
