MBNA And Working Assets Long Distance ripoff dishonest banking practices Wilmington Delaware
I made the mistake of answering an ad by MBNA to apply for a low interest credit card. I bought into the idea that one payment would be easier than many. Instead of being lower interest, the interest rate was over 40% higher than advertised, what I was paying, and what I agreed to. In fact, MBNA lied during the process of transfering other debt to them, resulting in a huge increase in my debt load. MBNA has refused to rectify the problem and insists that it will not transfer the debt to the original cards. I encourage everyone to avoid MBNA and Working Assets Long Distance - the sponsor of the program.

credit card to "move" your balance. It should be "similar to" using your own check.
MBNA is not your friend.
Maybe the best thing you can do is scrimp on everything else you spend money on and pay that entire debt off before it eats you alive?
