Two years ago I recieved a credit card from MBNA in the mail with a $1300 balance. I maxed it out and not once did I receive a bill. So, I tried e-mailing them and writing them, still no bill.

After 8 months I finally receive a bill and it says that I owe them $2500. I call and explain and ask why. They told me that I have refused to pay them and that all the late charges add up to this amount.

We worked out a deal that if I pay them $50 a month for the next three months that they would lower it back down to $1300 and I would have to pay that off and they would take the negative reports off my credit report.

The next bill I get I pay $57 and then the next month they turned me over to collections and they would not respond to me at all telling me why.
