McAFEE McAfee VirusScan Professional Bonus Pack - No removal solutions available, forcing computer owners back to them for antivirus protection! Internet
I've been through HELL trying to get the McAfee VirusScan Professional Bonus Pack off my laptop so that I can install a new antivirus program. I've never used McAfee and suspect it came pre-installed. Try to find a solution to this, I'm telling you, it's a nightmare. I've been to all kinds of websites and have used McAfee's own software removal tools - three different versions! To no avail! The tech support from the new software company has given me at least 3 different things to try, and they don't work either.
NO COMPANY SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO CORNER THE MARKET LIKE THIS. It's no different than spam, if the consumer doesn't want it, we shouldn't have to get it. They need to be FORCED to place a PROPER software removal tool on thier website that removes ALL PROGRAMS. Otherwise, it prevents you from installing any other kind of anti-virus software on your machine.
HOW DO THEY GET AWAY WITH THIS??????
