Complaint Review: McAfee Security

I bought McAfee's "Internet Secuirty Suite" for my computer. It had a $30 rebate for previous users. I am a previous user. The rebate form is about a 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 inch square piece of paper that I threw out because it didn't look like a rebate form. I retrieved it and filled it out the best I could. This is the information that is REQUIRED on this tiny form.

Name, Mailing Address, City, State, Zip, Daytime Phone, e-mail address, Product Purchased, Signature, Date. They also require proof of previous ownership of the software such as a CD, diskette, or page of the manual. One of these HAS to be sent with the rebate. They have a record of me as a previous owner in their database with my purchase date, name, address, software type....EVERYTHING.

These people DO NOT want you to fill out the rebate and return it. They are doing everyting that they can do to discourage you from the rebate. Unfortunaly this is the best security software for the home PC
