Mcatemplate.com false charge to my Mastercard El Segundo California
A company called www.mcatemplate.com with a Scottsdale, AZ address charged $11.89 to my Mastercard. I contacted Mastercard and contested the charge. Their legal deparrtment is now working on this matter. My Mastercard is only used for a handful of recurring monthly charges, nothing else. That is why this one charge popped up as being a false charge.
I looked further into who mcatemplate is. I found that the "true owner" of mcatamplate is a company names navigationcatalyst.com in El Segundo, CA. This company owns almost 1 million .com addresses. I called the number listed for navigationcatalyst and got a voice mail box. Nobody will anwswer their phone and they will not return my calls.
Luckily, the charge amount was small and Mastercard was extremely helpfull in getting the needed legal paperwork to me so that they may go after this pirate shop. Mastercard also issued a new credit card within a day.
