Complaint Review: McCarthy Burgess And Wolff Inc

I have been contacted several times by this firm on the subject that my business owes a debt to Yellow Pages Advertising. Which true in the amount of $350. This is because the advertising did not understand that I said no when I was ask to renew our listing. Finally they stopped the billing but we did end up with a debt owed which I agreed to pay.

Since the economy is do severly in this area of the state of Virginia it has made it difficult to make the payment which I had explained to this firm.

Today I received a call which was made by a fellow from this firm and again I told that funds were becoming available soon just like I explained to other form there, and then he started giving me a bunch of stuff that I was not being honest about when I would pay. He then tried to ask some questions that had nothing to do with the debt and when asked him if he was an attorney and if I could have his name he got to the point saying is my answer yes or no. When I said no the call became termated from his end.

There were some other things said which I will not print. But he had angered me so much that I Googled the name and location of the firm and I was almost to ready to drive to Ohio which would not be a long trip from Virginia and confront this man face to face.

I did receive help and information on filing an complaint with the Better Busines Bureau. I hope this will help tame this firm which is to out of hand with the people they contact.
