I'm a retired U. S. Navy man I've lived in San Diego County must of my adult life. I've been warned and warned about buying CARS though out my adult life. Well I got the RED carpet treatment at this Dealership or are the all the same? I'm a hard worker and make an average income.

As soon as the Carpet was pulled from underneath me I signed off on a 2007 Jeep Compass. I get the car Home and I bring it up on the Internet and start see that I was paying $5,000 dollars more than the National average. I drove back to the Dealer and exclaimed my concern about this Vehicles price. I was told I had to pay for the Dealers low Inventory or stock shortage due to the High Demand.

I was also told The National average would only give them a $400.00 profit. I cryed all the way home with my new 2007 Jeep compass.

Oh I did get LoJack for cost, and a locking Gas cap at a discount that needed to be keyed by a Locksmith. I should have Taken the free car wash and oil change offered if I gave the Sales Team a good report. So now I pay $511.00 per month for 74 months at 11 plus percent, almost the price of the 2007 and the 2013 Jeep compass combined. Also they said you better get the extended warrenty and tax license and fees chumped in the total loan. I was offered $500.00 and pay off my 1999 Chevy Blazer of which I owed $733.00 dollars. I turned that offer down. The weather is great in San Diego, CA. but I'm paying for it.

We got a mini van from mccune motors some time back, had the optional rear folding seat installed. (it was listed on the sales receipt as installed that day)

3 days later they called us, said the seat was not the correct one for the van we got, so we brought it back, and they took out the seat ( which was a $900 option) and put in a non folding seat ( the stock one)

my wife noticed what was going on and stopped them before they were able to "swap out" the third seat.

the claim it was a safety issue, and basically " tough crud" if we wanted the folding seat ( which was listed on the sales receipt)

we called 2 other dealers to see if the folding seat was ok to have as an option in the van we got, they said no problem.

I think its just another way for mccune to rip us off after the deal is done.

also, just to show what b.s.ers they are, we actually paid cash for the van ( money on the spot)

the sales man counted the money 3 times, and said ok, 2 days later he called and complained we shourted him $100 and if we ever wanted warrentee service on the van we better come by with the $100.

( I think he mis placed the $100 before he turned it over to the cashier IMHO)

stay away from these kind of dealers, they are always looking for ways to get more out of honest customers.

Car Dealers ..special place in Hell for car dealerships

First, thank you for your service to your country. I went through boot at NTC San Diego. Too bad the place is all shut down. I liked it there.

Anyway, there is a special place in Hell for car dealerships. And dealerships seems to have it our for us military pukes. We just seem to attract all the rip off artist a-holes on the planet.

I hate car dealerships. Whenever I know of someone who wants to get a car I direct them to the above web sites first.

Again, thank you for your service to America and good luck!
