McDaniel Labor Services Ripoff Handyman rips people off Fort Worth Texas
The owner of McDaniel Labor Services managed the complex i live in and her husband was the maintiance man, he performed some minor repairs in my home as the maintiance man. He replaiced the ceiling fan in one of the bedrooms and after about a month the breaker started tripping, and the ceiling fan was about to fall, the owner of the property had a certified electrician come out and fix it, when he took it down the ceiling fan and the wires were exposed and shorting out and the screws holding it up were stripped out. (that was a fire waiting to happen). the handyman also fixed a leak in the ceiling, where the drip pan from the AC unit had leaked, first he took a chain and chained the drip pan to where it would drain and then he precieded to repair the ceiling, he told my husband he hoped it looked good when he finished because he didn't have a clue how to tape and bed or patch a ceiling, well the ceiling repair job does not match the rest of the ceiling the tape is showing and its starting to crack, so now the owner has to pay some else to come in and fix the originial problem along with the new ones. They also do foundation repairs that are not necessary and charge the owners tons of money. Please if this company has done anything in your home, call someone who is certified to come out and check it. this company is not licesened or certified to work on electrical, plumbing, or anything else.

After reading Mrs TB nasty repsonse again I had to post one more thing .>> (They also do foundation repairs that are not necessary and charge the owners tons of money. )
This wasn't even her landlord or non of her business , and the foundation work was done because the bricks were cracking etc , owner was aware of this and was sent tons of photos before he even approved the work , they are just mad because they didn't get the money . They don't work half the time and live pay check to pay check . My husband has been doing foundation work for 9 yrs and he's d**n good . The owner was very happy with the results & my husand worked his butt off doing that job .Now the duplex is level unlike the one MRS TB and I lived in at 2912 Elinor which is in need or work bad . So the old saying is don't always believe what someone posts or writes until you hear the other side of the story . PM

These people that wrote this have moved already , they stayed in the duplex for only 3 months and I had to hire a lawyer to stop them from harrasing my family and kids . My husband is a great handy man and was doing this job way before they moved into the duplex . They also trashed the place when they moved and broke the window . So you tell me . We have not lost any business because of them and I am a member of the BBB .They are just trying to start trouble as also . They also have a police report against them among many more things . We had to get a security camera because of the harrasment from these tenants . Thank God they moved . But like I said they broke their lease and trashed the duplex . so ......We used to live next door and because of all the trouble we moved into another duplex owned by another guy and my husband did the foundation work and the owner was very happy :) Thank You
My husband has many good handy man references so I'm not worried about these people posting this they are just trouble makers I guess they are stil at it . God help them .

I also paid these people to clean 2 duplexes for me they begged me for 100 up front before they even got started because they needed the money so I gave it to them . they wanted me to charge the owner of this duplex 280 for cleaning . Then on the day they finally decide to do the job they hurried up and did it so they could get the other $180 from me which was in the form of a check , This is the same duplex I moved into to get away from them . OMG The place was dirty the cabinets were not cleaned the carpet was not cleaned well it was a nightmare and I paid 280 for this ? I had to go back and re-clean after paying Mrs TB 280.00 .
