When I viewed this editorial column "Is Sochi 2014 going to be like Berlin 1936?" Febuary 28, 2010 by Michael Roston from Trueslant.com, I was offended by this crude article written by Michael Roston on the Russian's and the coming Russian Sochi olympics. Say's Russia is an ex power and refuses to correct the facts presented to him. What a joke, he slanders the fact about Vladimir Putin for no reason; then he erases information containing an error on his article online and does nothing about it.

Talk about cheap and he is a journalist? What kind of journalist is that?

Michael Roston next time you make stupid comments about Russia and comment how Russia is not this or that, back your information with facts. It is stupid to publish an article what you think according to with you without resources.

I want to make an apology for making this report as if I could remove it I would, I am not a fan of ripoff report as they don’t allow authors to remove or delete or alter reports. No one is perfect as when wrote this report I was upset and now time has passed I had a change of heart and that I want to say I am sorry for writing it.

Michael Roston doesn't know his facts on the Sochi 2014 Olympics

His opinion is poorly edited and reseached, Russia is no ex-superpower, Russia is a Superpower again. Michael Roston refuses to get a grip and provide some facts to his readers and says what he thinks which is a lot of BS crap. Ripoffreport is not just only about ripoff reports but also reporting bad publicity too. In case Michael Roston wants to seek his editorials he writes he should also research the ones he offended too. He made a dumb statement about ex-superpower, the article should have said superpower but then he goes and said because Putin said so as a joke to the comment editor, that was stupid of Michael Roston to comment something so childish.

If he is going to write something, he needs to provide the facts with his editorials so he has his information but he hasn't done so and the comment editor did what was ideal to rewrite the article when the facts was presented and their verified sources, Michael Roston had no comment but to say "spam". That right there says "ripoffreport" filing, get Michael Roston's name on the bad editorial list of bad journalists. If he was a man, he should of said I am sorry I made a mistake, I will make a correction but he didn't. If chooses to correct the article later then we can disreguard this ripoffreport. I hope he chooses to correct the article from ex-superpower to actual superpower.

It's an editorial....... ie: one man's opinion

To the Op,

I googled the article in question and read it over. While I have no opinion about the content I feel it is well written and serves it's purpose. It does what an editorial is supposed to do: provides an opinion, supports it from the author's point of view and opens up a dialogue of different opinions.

If you disagree with the article write a rebuttal or a letter to the editor.

As for it being a ripoff get a grip. Everybody is entitled to an opinion.

Cheers

Well he didn't want to make a change in the edits and they have their advertisers paying them to write articles to gain interests to interested readers. Michael Roston didn't provide any references and no links of facts to back his story. I call it a ripoff because the advertising is paying a great deal of money and the editor Michael Roston is writing nonsense, that's called wasting money and time to the readers.

Maybe I'm reading this incorrectly - this site is devoted to what are commonly referred to as "ripoffs" - meaning to me that someone is losing money due to some sort of fraud.

How does Mr Roston's article defrauding someone?
