A cell phone was shipped to me which was meant for another person in Georgia. When I called them they didn't even have me on the computer. There was so much confusion on their end that I told them I did not want the service nor the correct phone. They instructed me to wait for the return labels before shipping the mis-addressed phone back. I did that. Now they claim they didn't receive it and, I presume, charging me for service. It had their labels on it. How could they not receive it? Then they told me I had the wrong "tracking #" I sent letters to all interested parties and spoke with a "Jonathan" at MCI in Phoenix, AZ. in October 2001. He was extremely helpful and together. He advised me that I was due the refund and should get a correction from my credit card company. I thought that was the last of it. On Jan. 23, 2002, I received a collections letter from Progressive Financial Services in Mesa, AZ. for $258.26. When I spoke to them advising them that I sent the phone back to MCI/WorldCom's phone and that I have never used their service, the man told me I was lying. Excuse me! I am a senior citizen. When I grew up lying used to be a sin. Maybe that is what HE does but it is certainly not MY modus operendi.
