A legitimate MCI Worldcom rep sold my wife and I two phones and 6-month promotional plans. This individual was an insider to MCI because he knew about their awful 6-month delayed billing problem.

Well, I guess I was the sucker, because I spent $300 cash up front purchasing 6 months of service. Well, the sales rep gave out my credit info for another phone user. In Sep 2001 the bills poured in. Now I'm up to $5000 in bills. I've called MCI, waited hours on hold, and when I get to a representative, all I get are "fraud will handle" or "write to Thomas Barton, VP, Customer service.

I wrote the letter outlining the scam and today I received my response. "Too bad, pay us, anyway." Well, this is about enough. I called up and the rep said -- "channel your energy with fraud and not me." I've tried to talk with anyone with an ounce of intelligence at Worldcom, but Fraud is never available. They also said, "tell your local authorities" but couldn't explain how this would get rid of my fraudulent bills.

I work in the banking industry where Customer service is paramount. This company absolutely is a disgrace and they've messed with the wront individual. I'm now going to an attorney to take legal action. Please send any information to me about class action law suits against MCI. Thanks!
