MCI Surcharge Ripoff Puffs Phone Bill By 17% netting MCI nearly $10 for Every Subscriber In Neighborhood Atlanta And Nationwide
MCI pursuaded me to switch to their "Neighborhood" plan. The first two months my total bill was $54.99. But, in the third month they added 0.99 for a paper bill (they're charging me to send their bill instead of giving credit for those who choose a paperless bill), $6.50 for a "Network Access Surcharge (they don't tell you about this when you sign up), $1.90 "Carrier Access Charge-B" (they don't tell you about this either). That is a total of almost $10 puff to their so-called special deal. That's not GA peaches you smell here!
