Complaint Review: MCI Wireless

MCI Wireless nightmare. Has anyone tried to sue them?

I'll make this quick and simple because my experiences with MCI wireless follow the same pattern as most of the other messages. I signed up with them 2 years ago, it took 6 months to get my first months bill, 2 months more for my second month and so forth. They turned off my phone 2 times because THEY didn't realize my checks had already cleared and of course I got phone calls TWO DAYS after the billing date. It also took a week to get the phone turned back on. I finally cancelled my account and asked for a final bill. They did cancel the account and send the final bill, which consists of the last 3 months.

I have sent them a registered letter asking for an itemized entire account history from the day I signed up to the day I cancelled because although I saved every piece of paper from them, including cancelled checks, the untimely manner and overlapping billing periods makes it damm near impossible to figure out if I have been overpaying.

I am having second thoughts about even paying this bill for these reasons:

1. I have NEVER received a monthly statement on time, or even close to being on time.

2. Contacting customer service is almost impossible.

3. They turned me off twice due to their ineptness.

4. I have wasted HOURS of my time dealing with this nightmare.

It's only $125 or so but it's the principle of it.
