MCi Wordcom Wireless -The Worst Customer Service and Chaotic Customer Info Management
I have received several bills regarding a cell phone I have never signed up. For this reason, I never paid the bill. On a lucky Saturday morning, I called Worldcom customer service. The agent on the phone told me that he took care of it.
A month later, I got the same bill again in the mail. I had tried to call Worldcom's customer service number numerous times. The automated message was "We have experienced an overwhelming volume of call. Please call back at a later time" for 3 times (on different days). Other times, I was simply on hold for more than 1 hour, listening to the auto-playback music. Nobody picked up the phone and I hanged up. I then used the email. The response was "We don't take care of fraud here. Please call 1-800-xxx-xxxx the frand department".
I called the number given to me in the email. It was a number that had been disconnected.
I later wrote Wordcom Wireless a letter to explain the situation after I reported to my local police department. Unfortunately, the bill keep coming to me. The number is now $1615.71. Whoever signed up the service with my personal information used $918.57 worth of cellular service in from 1/10/02-2/09/02.
On a CNBC commercial, Worldcom claims that it is the biggest IP provider in the world. It seems that Worldcom is a person who does not have the compentency to learn it has both AIDS and late-stage metastasized cancer, even when he has swollen lymph nodes all over the places.
