MCI Worldcom Incompetent, Ripoff, Shysters...HUGE MISTAKE going with MCI WORLDCOM NEWARK, New Jersey

I decided to start service with MCI Worldcom Wireless after they sent me a flyer in the mail. For the first few months, I had no problems. All of the sudden, my bill was over $100 -- it was supposed to be $29.99/month and I paid my bill every month.

They were hard to get ahold of and I didn't have time to stay on hold for 30 minutes to talk with an incompetent service representative anyway.

They sent my bill to their collections department. I spoke with a foreign lady who was VERY rude. I agreed to pay $60 just for 2 months of the base service charge I had not yet paid. They charged my credit card, but failed to credit my bill.

I must've called them 5 times to see when they were going to get around to crediting my bill. Out of total disgust and frustration, I disputed the charge on my credit card and got my money back.

It has been over a year and they have not contacted me. Just the other day, I received an invoice from some collection agency in Florida. I refuse to pay this bill ($193.00) because they are all phony charges anyway.

Maybe if they got a better customer service department, not so many people would be complaining about them. Without customers, they would have no business.

By the way, MCI doesn't even have their own cellular towers. They buy minutes and packages from other cellular companies and then resell them.What kind of company are they, anyway??
