During the summer of 2000 I got an offer in the mail for a cell phone through Sprint PCS, and ordered two of them-- one for myself and the other for a friend with bad credit. It was for 150minutes per month, for $29.95. Two months later I called because I had never gotten a bill for either one of the phones. After being on hold for over 45 minutes, they told me that the telephone number that I gave her was NON-WORKING. I gave her my name, address, and social security number and was to wait to get a response. Another month passed and nothing. I called again and they told me the same thing. How could it be a non-working phone if it was the phone that I was calling from?

This went on for approximately 6 months. I called then to disconnect them. They told me that I could not disconnect a phone that was not in service. I tried to get on to the web site, but they couldn't find my account. Approximatly a year after I got the phones I got a message from a Steve Gardener, and I was supposed to call him back at 888-837-0118 because my account had "raised some flags". I was thrilled! I was finally going to get this all taken care of! Only when I called that number I was on hold for over an hour and when I finally got to talk to somebody, they told me that there was no Steve Gardener there.

I investigated more, and they told me that I was finally in the system, but with a zero balance. They said not to worry. Later I got two bills, equalling over$7,000. When I called, after being on hold for hours, they sent me to the collections department for delinquint accounts!!!!! They are the delinquent ones!!!!

I sent them a letter in Oct. 2001, and never got a response. I thought I was alone in this, but after finding this site, I'm seriously considering seeing a lawyer. I'll let you all know what happens.....
