Back in September I was in need of a cell phone since my last phone was giving me problems. I went to work and saw a ad by Worldcom Wireless stating that you can recieved a phone (Nokia 8260) for $50.00. At the time a 8260 retailed $169.99 at any other Celluar companies and I thought to myself "Why would these guys sell a phone for so cheap"? Anyways, I decided to give it a shot and go for the deal so I called the number on the flyer and so kid answered and ran my credit over the phone. He then asked that I meet him at a certain place in which I did and he gave my the phone. This is what I orded:

1 Nokia 8260 phone $50.00
Activation fee $25.00
first month service$29.99

I recieved a bill for $129.99 on December 27 of 2001. I was trying to figure out when the bill was due and it says receipt which means asap. This pissed me off since I tried to call the company various times and they told me that the bill will come in 60-70 days which wasn't true. In fact it came after more like 4 months. Then on the January 2 I recieved a second bill for $42.99 for things I do not even understand, I asked around about this company and people are telling me that they are a rip-off.

As of right now I am trying to decide what to do which the phone, I am certain they are not a legit company and bad business is the norm for them. I want to cancel the phone but I wonder how much money that is going to be alone.

Anyways, I just wanted to let off the truth to all people who are looking for ways to get a cheap cell phone. Worldcom Wireless is a joke and I do not recommend them to anyone.
