Mclaren Technologies Scam, Home theater system does not work. No internal components Internet
I was at a loading dock/ parking lot waiting on building materials. These two caucasian guys, the age of driver seemed between 30 to 35 and the passenger in front seemed about 35 to 42 years old. The one in the passenger called up to me and said that he wanted to show me some home theater systems that he delivers and that he had too many so he wanted to get rid of them and that he could give me a deal. I told the guy that I was not interested and had no money but he insisted that I can make an offer and that he was in a hurry. I was with a relative at the time so I looked at the systems he had in the trunk of the white suv. In the trunks were many boxes with these so called home theater systems. He showed me a brochure and said they sell them for about $3,100 in there company but since he had too many he can sell them for about $300. I said I could not do it cause I had no money, but since I was with a relative I can see what I can do. My relative actually let me borrow $250 but insisted that I verify the contents of the package and the guy opened the box but everything seemed good. He put the box in my vehicle and we closed the deal. When I get home I googled and the system is a scam and it is shown on youtube videos with people angry about how they were scammed. I plugged up the system and the amplifier will not turn on. I look inside the amplifier and the amplifier has no internal components to actually work. This is the kind of trash these people are selling. I would have been ok if the system would at least work even if they were not so great but what kills it is that they sell you something that has no value cause it has no internal components to make it work. I don't have information as far as license plate number or much of a traceable description but I do think I can get finger prints. I just want these guys to pay for ripping people off the way they are doing. I am interested in finding out more about how to get these guys. Who can I contact and what do they need from me too trace them.
