At the best buy here in Santa Clarita, my friend and i got out of our car and were approached by 2 men in a white van. They said they had some stuff to sell and thought we might be interested. We said no but they kept pestering us to come over. We eventually gave in and they made their speech about how they needed to get rid of some electronic speakers that were 2000 dollars and that we could get a really great deal. They asked us how much we were willing to spend and we told them we didnt have any money.

They kept sweetening the deal, saying they would sell it to us for 300 to 400 bucks. We declined. They wanted to get rid of these speakers badly. The brand name was Mclaren. So eventually they got us hook line and sinker. By asking us how much we were willing to pay. We told them 100 bucks and they accepted.

The "made in the usa" speakers are really from china and arent worth anything. I still have them in the box. Buyer beware of the white van speaker scam.

You looked at the speakers before you bought them and you offered what you thought was a fair price.  You got the speakers.  So what's the problem?  $100 is pretty reasonable for some cheap Chinese speakers, and I think it's obvious from the price you paid that they aren't worth anywhere near $2000.
