I purchased an 06 Audi A4 from the dealership on 12/1/07. I had contacted them before hand and informed them that I will be coming in to see the vehicle they continuously contacted me to confirm the time that I will be coming in and tried to make sure I will come. Also the salesperson who dealt with me tried hard to sell me a vehicle which had a mechanical default by continuously telling me that it was under warranty and they would repair it for free otherwise I can bring the vehicle back. When I did not budge he stopped in trying to influence me. Also he knew the problem in the vehicle but did not inform beforehand only after I test drove it he mentioned it. They had another Audi which I drove and finally purchased from them. They gave temporary permit for three weeks and I continuously contacted them to get the vehicle title and everything to get it registered. I spoke with Olga in titles department around 8-10 times and she would always tell me that they will mail me my titles soon and will send temp permits. I used to try to speak with them almost daily but most of the time my calls went unanswered. Finally one day I was able to get thru my salesperson who told me that dealership closed down and he will try to see about my title and after that he stopped taking my calls altogether. Finally I went to Illinois secretary of state and filed a report regarding the title, they told me that they file a case and try to get my the vehicle title but it could take from 3-24 months. I also tried to contact 5/3 but they did not have the title of my vehicle as yet. I spoke to the bridgeview police who told me that I need to hire an attorney as it is a civil matter without evening listening properly or collecting any information regarding the dealership and the issue. I have no clue as to what I should be doing in this case regarding hiring an attorney, etc. and will appreciate if people in similar situation with MCLS advise as to the steps they are taking to get their respective titles.

I traded in two cars for one at MCLS Autos in Bridgeview on 03/27/07 - since the loan to value was high they made me purchase SAFE-GAP total loss protection plan for $695.00. The finance manager informed me that it's the only way for me to get a loan. So, I purchased it... and now on 03/13/09 my vehicle was stolen and has not been recovered. I still have a loan on this car with Wells Fargo Auto Finance, my insurance company paid out a chunk to the loan company since it is a total loss. Once the claim with my insurance company was completed, I filed a claim with Safe-Gap, I sent in all the needed info including front and back copies of the GAP contract. About 10 business days have passed, I called Safe-Gap for an update on the claim and was informed that the claim is denied becuase the dealer never sent in a payment for this plan nor a copy of the contract. It's weird that Wells Fargo Auto Finance knew that I have GAP coverege and they sent them info about the loan, but GAP had no record of me ever having it. Which means that MCLS charged me for this service - protection plan and kept the money for themselves. They never sent payment and screwed me over. Now I have a balance on my loan, don't have the car and need to make payments. This is horrible.... I also read so many testimonials from people about how they screwd them over. One of the owners of MCLS was Lester Bafia, he interviewed with a magazine called EXPRESS where he provided his phone #, so I am providing it: Lester Bafia 708/906-3594 he mentioned that every one of his clients will be satisfied and will resolve every issue. Well, I called him many times, left messeges, but so far have not heard from him. Tha GAP company told me that I have to go after the dealership, and that the balance on the loan is their responsibility since they are the ones that charged me for GAP, never sent in the payment and now I can't even use the service. I can't even find them anymore, I have no idea where to look or what to do. The balance on the loan is about $9,000 and I can't afford to pay this for nothing, and I don't even have that car. Also, I was informed that if they filed bankruptcy then I can do something about this, but if they didn't then I can't go after the dealership, since they just packed up, locked up their doors and left. If anyone knows anything please, please let me know. Something must be done about this, and someone must have some kind of information about them. MCLS and the owners must pay for all this damage that they have caused people. It's just not right. If anyone knows anything please let me know. I contacted attorney general office, but no response. Thank you.
