I came across these complaints when searching google for alternate phone numbers for MCR Realty. Like you, my clients submitted an offer on a short sale in Fontana listed by Mario. They came back with a counter offer requesting a $10,000 EMD. My clients agreed and we have been in escrow since Nov 2015. I've never spoken to Mario directly and have only dealt with transaction coordinators. I called this morning and the phone is redirected to a different number and the number for escrow seems to have been disconnected. I have not received and email or any other communication from the transaction coordinator since July 27, 2016.
Have you taken any steps to report this company and get the EMD refunded? If so, who did you contact? I also contacted the BRE and they said they will have and investigator contact me.
