Me Too Software, ICopyDVDs2 Rebate Ripoff! They Burnt Me on Rebate - Don't Let Them Burn You Too Orland Park Illinois
Me Too Software refused to honor its offer of a full $35 rebate for ICopyDVDs2 which I purchased at Best Buy at the same time I purchased TaxCut 2005 even though I fully complied with all of the stated terms and conditions of their rebate offer.
I mailed them the filled-in rebate form, the original UPC code from the box, a photo copy of the license code and password from the CD sleeve, etc. In addition to all of that usual [and unusual] stuff, Me Too Software required on-line registration and activation of the software. I registered and activated the software but balked at giving my real name, address, email, etc. The system didn't seem to care that I registered as Nonayu Biznez and my software was activated.
The pricipals of the company don't tell me who they are - Why the hell should I tell them who I am? Besides I don't want to put personal info like that out on the internet and servers whose security I know nothing about. Even if their system is secure, it sounded like Me Too Software was going to put me onto email advertising (spam) lists I didn't want to be on. I'll bet they sell their info to data miners!
Anyway, those sleazes won't send me my $35 even though I fully complied with their terms and conditions.

It's a good thing that you didn't disclose who you were because they will rip you off!! They don't know what "stop" means - they charge and charge and charge and charge your credit card account. Paying $39.95 a MONTH for a service that I do not use is fraudlant - stop stealing money me2.
