Meadow Lake Resort Misleading tactics and fraud Columbia Falls Montana
Meadow Lake Resort is in violation of Montana State law by intentionally misleading me not once, not twice, but three times in regards to false and misleading statements in connection with timeshare ownership. I have been doing nothing but researching the Montana State Laws. I now know that there is a law that protects consumers when you are presented false information from someone selling a timeshare. Meadow Lake Resort has told me and continues to tell me how easy it is to sell this ownership. During the sales presentation, I was told this purchase was an investment since I could easily seek it for a profit.
The real estate company that Meadow Lake referred me to has stated that is it pretty much impossible to sell this. Even giving it away is not an option let alone making any sort of profit was out of the question. This confirms that Meadow Lake is in violation of Mont. Code Ann. § 37-53-307. The law states it is illegal for any person to make a false or misleading statement of fact in connection with the offer, sale, or lease of a timeshare interest and prohibits timeshare sellers from engaging in any act to defraud timeshare purchasers.
This is exactly what Meadow Lake has done to me. Stay as far away as you can from this company. They are breaking the law.
