Complaint Review: Meadows home

Back in late July my husband and i were looking for a home to rent. Some how we came across Kevin and sent a request to see a home that was listed for rent.  Kevin then text me asking if we were still looking for a home. I replyed with yes we are. We then got texting back and forth and he was telling me about what the company does and how they help people like us with bad credit and having to move in such a hurry. We had set up a time were we would meat up at his office in Dundee Florida. We went and he told us we had nothing to worry about and that he would have us in a home by the end of the week. he told us that we needed to give him 500$ and that would be our move in cost and that we didnt have to pay anything else until the first of Sepember. The day we meat up with Kevin we told him that giving him this money right was gonna be hard if he couldnt come through with his promis. He then told us not to worry that we would be hearing something from him on monday afternoon. We gave him 100$ on that Sunday. And the next day we gave him a money order for 400$. we then waited to hear from him and he text me saying that the paper work was in and that we would be hearing something very soon. Days went on and didnt hear anything from him. The day we had to move i texted him asking him what was going on and why havent we heard anything from him. We got nothing back from him untill the next Monday 8/7/17. hE THEN SAID SORRY WAS OUT OF TOWN BUT I SHOULD HEAR SOMETHING BY THE END OF THE DAY. And since then i havent hear a word from him or anyone on what was going on. After all the text messages and phone calls that i have done. 8/23/17
