On 6/11/15, a man in a black four door pickup, with a large silver freezer in the back, came to our door. My husband answered. He said he was selling seafood, chicken, and beef and had some very good specials. My elderly husband, who is dealing with memory issues, said they were offering one box for $595 and if you bought two boxes, it would cost only $495. My husband offered $400 cash and they agreed. When he left, we saw the weight, including packaging was only 16.5 lbs per box. Each box contains 4.5 lbs of hamburger and the balance in steak. We have tried the steak and it is flavorless and averages $12 per pound. My husband did not get a name or phone number and paid cash. The salesman did say, "you've heard of Omaha Steaks, same quality!" My husband wants to warn others to prevent this from happening to them! Thank you! Wilma Putnam Cozad NE
