My mother (resides in Nebraska) was contacted on January 12th (Saturday) by a man with a heavy middle eastern accent using the "fear factor";stating her medical coverage will be terminated if she didn't purchase the package he was calling about. He asked my mother to answer questions with a "Yes" or "No" responses only. He verified her address, phone number and her bank account number! My mother asked how he had her information. He intentionally thickens up the accent more to confuse and intimidate her and asked her to respond as she was being recorded. My mother became suspicious and asked for the phone number to verify her conversation and the transaction. She then hung up the phone.

Her bank notified her that an electronic debit for $389.00 was taken out of her account; causing many overdrafts. My mother was horrified. She went to the bank and took all the information. The bank has written a letter on my mother's behalf to this fraudulent company stating my mother did not give "written" permission or legitimately authorized the transaction; demanding a refund immediately.

Every one who has been scammed must use any and all measures to shut these parasites down. There is no web site; they are preying on vulnurable people causing devestating effects financially and emotionally. HELP!

Pharma Bay, Medprovisions and Pronto Meds are all one in the same.. Many times the callers will identify themselves as Medicare. This is a Federal violation of Law. Medprovisons.com will show the same web site and pronto meds, however with a different phone number. It is an 866- 460- ( I dont recall the last four) Calling them is a waste of time.. Medicare beneficiaries should contact their local Medicare office or call the 877-772-3379 number and report the scam especially if the caller has identified themself as being from Medicare...Some banks will do a charge back in order to get your money back... Medicare will never call you on the phone, therefore do not for any reason, give out any of your financial information to anyone.............
