Medco Health Solutions ripoff has zilch for customer service out of Franklin Lakes New Jersey

My health insurance carrier notified me that any "maintanence" prescription that I take which is over 3 months in term must be purchased through Medco! If I use my local pharmacy they will nail me with an outrageous co-pay of $50 per prescription! Where is our government who is supposed to be "legislating" instead of "corporate America" writing the rules and regulations?

This company has the ABSOLUTE WORST customer service I have ever encountered in my 52 years of life! The right hand doesn't have a clue what the left hand is doing! No one in the customer service division is capable of making an informed decision about anything! Getting to speak with a "HUMAN BEING" is as time consuming and fustrating as it gets if even possible at all! I even attempted to "FAX" my request without success! They fail to answer anything whether on the phone, fax, or e-mail! I have attempted to mail my concerns now to the "Office of the President of Medco" to see if he does anything other than take my money and run!

I can only say that I would give considerable thought before engaging in any business transactions with this firm! I intend to return to my local pharmacy and pay the out-of-pocket co-pays just to get my blood pressure back under control from dealing with this totally incompetant firm! BEWARE!!!!!

Brenda said it all! Companies hiring cheap inexperienced labor and giving customers cheap lousy service!
If they did their job the way they should, they wouldn't have these complaints however, we all know Brenda doesn't give a hoot about you and I as customers, she just has her sights set on Fridays Paycheck so she can PARTY all weekend!
We all know the education these kids get today! They can't add two and two with a calculator!

Ryan, you have kind of proven his point. 18 year old kids with zero authority who parrot the non service script.

Anytime you are working the phones at "customer service" and don't provide any, you are going to get irate responses.

I am an employee at express scripts (competitor of medco) and i am so glad that we all get treated the same.

1. Your INSURANCE decided to make you get your prescriptions at a 3 month supply, which usually saves you a months copay.

2. We assist you with getting your prescriptions through mail order, ONLY because your PLAN pays us.

3. Pressing "0" in the menu will usually get you a person.

Don't reply back with "YOU PEOPLE" don't care. Why would we WANT you to not get your medication? why would we WANT you to die?

When you call Medco, remember this: The person you are speaking to may only be 18-19. They do as they are taught. Don't be rude to us.

*Yes i am fully aware that i do not work at medco, but express scripts is the same thing*
