My wife received a charge on her bank account on 12/23/08 in the amount of $29.95 for a company called "Mediamogulme.com". I viewed the website and confirmed it was nothing we had ordered or registered for. When I attempted to contact the company about cancelling the service and/or being credited the money back to my wife's account, I was met with resistance from their "so-called" customer service department.

First of all, it took 6 days to get in touch with someone "live" on the phone. I kept getting a recording to call back during "business hours". Since it was around Christmas, I figured they must be on some holiday routine.

So...I called today (Monday, 12/29/08) and finally got in touch with their customer service. The woman on the phone could barely speak English and offered absolutely no assistance. She kept asking for MORE personal information about my wife and kept saying she was having trouble accessing my wife's account. She finally stated, "Why don't you take advantage of our service since you already paid for it". I nearly hit the roof! I kept repeating over and over that this was a fraudulent charge and we were not interested in their service.

When I threatened to take further action if they did not remove the charges and cancel the account, the woman hung up on me. The toll free number is 1-800-419-1932 and currently has a constant busy signal. I'm aware there are NUMEROUS complaints about this website being a scam. Can anything be done to stop them?
