Medical Health Ventures said in their ad you will make 2-3 sales a day @ $100 a sale of a membership that looks like an insurance plan. Well they say it is a PPO plan. All this for $65 a month and it covers everything including plastic surgery. It doesn't.

They want you to buy a brokership for $99 and you can get a halfway website for setup $19.95 and $9.95 a month that they get free. And that is to get the $100 that I never received for a membership.

Now they want you to spend $149 to learn how to sell this medical health plan according to state and federal regulations. And they won't pay you if you sell a group of 6 plan unless you go to this group school.

Also the brochures have testimonies that are the same as another company doing the same thing. Somebody must be lying because both companies are in Arlington, Tx. And they both said that is their testimonies. I went to complain at one of their meeting and they called the law on me and had me taken out of the meeting. Because I would discourage people from Joining and getting scammed.

So please don't buy or join Medical Health Ventures or International Association of Businesses. You will just lose your money.

I enrolled for this "insurance" and later found out it's not but the man that called and sold it to me told me it was a PPO plan... I found out it wasn't and called to cancel my plan. They still took the money out three days later. I went to my bank and signed papers to stop payment and have them not let any other money be taken out by this company. Well this month they used a different name and took it out again!!! Now, I have to go to the bank and close my whole account! This is a true scam.

Complaint about MHV is Bogus and Uninformed

As a six month member AND representative of Medical Health Ventures and the IAB, I challenge the complainer to file a Rip-off Report and I will try ot solve your problem. Let me assure you he has grossly overstated some of the typical growing pains all new ventures go through when he whines about what I feel is a truely fantastic website. Regarding compensation, it sounds like he didn't fill out the application properly or doesn't understand the program. As far as the benefits are concerned, I have personally used my card on four seperate occassions: at the pharmacy twice, at my family physician, at our pediatrician and at an outpatient (x-rays) faclilty. I saved between 10% - 40% for the exams and prescriptions each time. With the IAB/MHV program, I have already saved over $1,500.00. File your Rip-off Report and your questions and I will respond to your report as a REBUTTAL *Consumer Comment.

Leon's View about Medical Health Ventures is NOT the TRUTH

#5REBUTTAL Owner of company

Medical Health Ventures is marketing a Non-Insurance Alternative through International Marketing Agencies which was formed in 1982 as a non profit association.

It's memmbers are saving thousands of dollars each week through its network of over 500,000 providers and its fully insured dental plan and fully insured Accidental Death and Indemninity Plan as well as a an emergency accidental medical plan that pays $1000 per accident.

Represenatives are receiving thousands of dollars of commission each week. The program is a win win situation for everyone-the member who can save and receive many times more that it cost - the providers who are getting many more customers directed toward them because of the discounts they are offering - and the salespersons that can make $100 each sale as well as residual commissions on the renewals each month.

The web sight is a tremendous aid the sales represenative who choose to take advantage of it, and surely no one who wants to represent the program properly would object to training schools, although the schools and the web sights are not required but are optional if the sale represenative disires to use them.

Anyone who says this is a ripoff is either a competitor trying to wrongly influence others are otherwise does not know what he is talking about. Literally thousands of families are joining this program each month because of it tremendous benefits at a low cost.

In todays society insurance companies make incredible amounts of money off of our illnesses. Think about it. In every state insurance companies own major real estate, they advertise everywhere, but still, Americans can't afford health insurance.

If you are a small business owner or self employed and have priced insurance for yourself or your employees you realize how unaffordable insurance is. If you have an existing medical condition such as diabetes, a heart condition, or even just pregnant, trying to find an affordable insurance plan with adequate coverage is like looking for a needle in a hay stack.

The plan that the IAB has put together provides the millions of families who can't afford health insurance with a more than adequate and extremely affordable alternative. What the IAB has created is a ppo network that will help millions of suffering and worried families.

The person that reported the IAB to this site is either afraid of change, too selfish and greedy to look past the money he has to invest to try to help people, knows nothing about insurance or he works for the insurance company.

The IAB has a sister company called NASE also based in Arlington that has similar benefits that it offers to entrepreneurs. Both companies are non-profit organizations.

Checkout the IAB website WWW.IABBenefits.com and keep an open mind.
