I received a phone call in March of 2001 offering Medical Insurance for $349 a year from Medplan. The first woman I spoke with said that it would not be applied to my bank account for 30 days. she also said the next woman I would speak with would say "amount applied today" but that it wasn't true.

The next conversation was recorded saying exactly what she said and I did not stop to verify. (stupid me). The amount was withdrawn within four days, and I was livid. I called Medplan immediately and they told me 30 days before a refund could be issued. I called every other day for the next three weeks.

On the 30th day, someone then told me 30 business days. then with more phone calls throughtout the next 30 days, I was told 30 to 90 days, then 90 business days and finally someone said they were behind in the refund department and I would just have to wait. I contacted the attorney generals office of New York and Indiana and neither one of them offered anything to help.

It's been almost a year since my foolish trustworthness was taking advantage of and I have given up. But then I saw your webpage. If there is everything you can do to help or if you need any more info please, please, please contact. thank you
