I HAD ROBERT MEDRANO IN MY HOME FOR AN ESTIMATE FOR GRANITE WORK.
I HAD TALKED TO SEVERAL CONTRACTORS BEFORE HIM. HE WAS ACTUALLY $2000.00 HIGHER THAN OTHER BIDS BUT I FELT COMFORTABLE WITH HIM. OBVIOUSLY, THEY HAVE ALOT OF PRACTICE BEING THIEVES. HE ASK ME FOR A %50 DEPOSIT WHICH I UNDERSTAND. I GAVE HIM A CHECK JUNE 6, 2009 FOR $2600.00. HE THEN TOLD ME TO BUY A NEW SINK RIGHT AWAY IN WHICH I DID. AT THAT TIME, HE SAID IT WOULD BE 3-4 WEEKS AND THE JOB WOULD BE COMPLETE. HIS SON CAME TO MY OFFICE AND PICKED UP THE SINK. (AT THIS POINT IT IS A STOLEN SINK.) RIGHT..... I STARTED CALLING HE AND HIS SON TO INQUIRE WHEN MY JOB WOULD BE DONE. THEY LIED LIED AND CONTINUE TO LIE. THEY WOULD NOT RETURN MY PHONE CALLS AT ALL. I HAD A FRIEND CALL FROM HIS NUMBER AND MR. MEDRANO CALLED HIM RIGHT BACK. HE SAID OH I WOULD LOVE TO BRING GRANITE AND GIVE YOU AN ESTIMATE. HE CAUGHT ON WHAT WE WERE DOING.
THE VERY NICE POLICE DEPARTMENT CALLED MR. MEDRANO LEAVING A MESSAGE THAT I WAS IN THE STATION AND WANT MY SINK AND MONEY. WELL GUESS WHAT WITHIN 10 MINUTES HE CALLED ME WITH YES MORE LIES.
THAT HAS BEEN 3 WEEKS AGO. I MAY NEVER GET MY MONIES OR SINK BUT HE HAS BEEN NOTIFIED VIA CERTIFIED MAIL THAT I AM GOING TO FILE THEFT CHARGES FOR THE SINK AND MY $2600.00 ALSO I AM FILING IN SMALL CLAIMS COURT. I ALSO AM GOING TO PUT AN ADD IN HIS TOWNS NEWSPAPER AND ALSO IN MY AREA. I WILL DO EVERYTHING IN MY POWER TO SATISFY MY FRUSTRATION. I AM ALSO A CHRISTIAN PERSON BUT HAVE ALWAYS BE SUSPICIOUS OF ANYONE THAT PUTS RELIGIOUS QUOTES ON THEIR BUSINESS CARDS. YES YOU GOT IT. ON HIS IS JESUS IS LORD. WELL HE SHOULD STATE I AM AN EVIL. THIEF AFTER INVESTIGATING THESE CROOKS I FOUND THERE IS OTHER LAW SUITES AGAINST THEM. STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THESE DISHONEST PEOPLE AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN.

My mom's boyfriend has been a vitctim of medrano's scam as well, Her boyfriend was working for Roberto medrano as a tile installer and has not recieved his payment for the work done. Mr Medrano claims he has not recieved checks for the work done. Mr. Medrano also has not called or answered his calls about his payment, I am trying to figure out if this is the same guy with the other scams since we have no idea exactly where his office is located because the people as home depot and floor decor, Lowes ect were always recomending Mr. Medrano as a tile installer. If anyone has any information on this scammer if you could please email me at (((Redacted)))thank you so much.

I too was ripped off by Medrano Flooring. He was suppose to come by to finish our business ( actually fix a bunch of tile he layed crooked and uneven) but never came back nor is he returning phone calls. I gave the job to Robert and paid him for the work out of ignorance and since I know a member of his family. I plan on filing charges and taking him to small claims court. I went to his place of business however he has since moved. Luckily I took down his licence number and will pursue legal action. I am sorry to hear about your rip off and would like to know the final outcome.

Oh just found out this morning that Mr. Medrano has a warrant in Harris County. Guess for what? THEFT OF SERVICES. WHAT A SURPRISE.
