I had a Wonderlicht test and had a perfect score of 20. I then took the NLN admission test for the LPN Program at Medvance Institute and was encouraged to take the class. I was approved for the loan by the Federal Stafford Loans and then after the school registered me they refused to allow me to take the courses. I was told to return this Monday by Mr. Cucolo, the admission counsellor and when I came in for my appointment he ducked and lied that he was ill and that I should see the director of the school in West Palm Beach. I paid $160 to register for the courses and now the school refuses to let me take the LPN course and they refuse to return the money as well.

I had a 55 on the admission test in the percentiles but passing is 40 per cent percentile but they refuse to let me take the course. I received an inheritance from my father when he died after he was hit by a car in New York but Medvance knew I had assets when they admitted me but my scores were low on my NLN in Math of 12 per centile as my college in New York Adelphi Unniversity whereI did my BA accepted me and did not require math when I went to college. As a result I am not good in math.

Medvance told me to just give them the check for the $24,000 from my father's inheritance and that I did not require math at all for the course. This is not true as most universities require math for admission to the LPN program. At Palm Beach Community College a B is required in math to enter the lPN program but at MEdvance as long as you pay you can be bad in math and not be able to add two and two.

The Admission counsellors lie and tell the applicants they do not require math to be a nurse but this is not true according to the NLN in 80 Broadway where I took my test for LPN admission. Math is necessary in orderto administer medications as an LPN. Therefore this Medvance is a dishonest school that only wants the money but not wanting the students to attend the school.
I would like my deposit back as I was told that I was admitted as a student and then they recanted later on after I appeared for classes. They knew that I had an inheritance at Medvance so they wanted my money but they did not want me to attend the college but that is fraud to just collect the money and not allow me to attend. They collected my Stafford Loan of $12,000 and now I am not allowed to attend the college as they claim I did not pay my $12,000 difference that I owe on my tuition.
I have to pay the tuition but not allowed to attend the classes at Medvance.
This is a fraud to charge for something I am not getting.
