Mega Furniture at Arrowhead Location After being told by the sales person to purchase 5 year service warranty to protect the furniture we where purchasing.

There is a cable on the sofa for a chair to recline, this cable broke after owning this sofa for less than a year. Trying to get a hold of someone to help fix this problem at Mega Furniture was a nightmare. When we finally reached someone who returned our calls about our complaints regarding this broken cable they referred me to their warranty company to fix the problem.

The warranty is called GBS warranty. The warranty company took months to review the claim but never called back with an answer. I called them after being so frustrated from not receiving a call back about the issue. GPS warranty told me that this cable which is used to recline the chair is not a covered item. This is not at all what the salesperson had told us. GPS warranty sent me a copy of the warranty of thing that are not covered.

I called back to the Mega Furniture store and they had someone from customer service call me to let me know that I could purchase a part to fix it for $15 and they would install it for $45. I just want people to be aware of Mega Furniture not backing what they sell and not to buy the worthless warranty. Glendale Arizona
