MEGA Life And Health Ins. Company ripoff Stay away from MEGA LIfe and Health North Richland Hills Texas
I was a rep for Mega LIfe and Health Insurance Company and their Cover organization: the National Association for the Self-Employed (NASE). I worked hard and generated many customers only to find out the insurance was next to useless, the company started to ask me to engage in dishonest (sometimes possibly criminal behavior), and the people who had trusted me felt ripped-off by their association with MEGA. This is an organization that should not be allowed to do business in any state. They constantly recruit new reps because most reps never make any money selling their products and if they are somewhat successful (like me) they soon realize that MEGA Life and Health does nothing but damage their reputation in the community and possibly the lives of individuals and families that place their trust in MEGA Life and Health. Please, listen to what is posted by me and research this company before letting them near your home or place of business!

I worked with different insurance company and was led down a dark and dusty trail. I left this other company after 6 months and was invited to check out UGA/MEGA/NASE. I was given some information from a current agent prior to meeting with the state manager. I had looked at all the reports, comments on this web site and others just to be ready to ask a lot of questions. I also checked out the Department of Insurance in my state and I was shocked that there were fewer complaints filed on this company than any other company since there was so much bad information on this report site. After I met with the state manager I was really impressed so I gave it a go and 3 months later I would have to say that this company is way ahead of all the other companies in many ways. I attend a company based training in the office every week where we are ground into the policies so we can inform our clients on what the policies will and will not do. If you had a bad experience with this company you may have been in the wrong group and we all know that if there is just one bad apple in the basket then it can make the whole basket rotten.
I am very lucky that my group does not condone any misrepresentation of the policies in any way shape or form. We can't even produce our own ads with out the home office approvals. The things you are referring to are illegal in my state and a person would go to jail along with the company losing its right to do business in our state. I am also licensed in the state of GA and after completing my test the Georgia Department of Insurance does not allow this either. I would file a report to the GA D.O.I. and have them look in to this concern.
